How the method works
Hand-tied sew-in wefts are attached by sewing wefts of hair directly to sections of your natural hair using a meticulous stitching technique. Because this method avoids adhesives and heat, it provides a low-profile foundation that adds length and fullness while remaining flexible for styling and daily movement.
Styling and the final look are shaped by how we place the wefts and how many rows are needed to reach your desired density. A trained installer assesses hair texture, existing length, and natural parting to position wefts so they integrate and move naturally with your hair.
What to expect during install
Your appointment lasts 180 MINUTES and the install price is $500. During that time expect a consultation of goals, precise sectioning, the hand-tied sewing of wefts, and finishing so you leave with a polished, wearable result.
Maintenance is recommended every 6–8 weeks to keep wefts secure, refresh placement, and address natural hair growth. Demand runs highest in May, Jun, Nov and Dec for weddings, graduations, summer travel and holiday transformations, so plan and book ahead for those months.
Care, styling and local factors
San Antonio’s hot summers, strong sun, and occasional thunderstorms can influence how hair behaves between visits. Heat and sun exposure may increase styling needs and affect how often you schedule maintenance, so climate is part of our care recommendations and appointment planning.
Our Terrell Heights salon near Broadway, The Quarry, and Brackenridge Park is easy to reach from Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, and U.S. 281. That central location and flexible scheduling make it straightforward to fit a 180 MINUTES install into a workday, school-day, or errands-based schedule.
